High Desert Gardeners was founded as Bob's Yard Care in 1995 by Bob Burns. Bob had loved doing yard work for family, friends, and neighbors since he was a kid in the early '70s, and eventually decided to make it his career. He worked alone for a while doing every part of the job and gaining valuable experience, but soon added helpers as his business grew. Those helpers have grown to 10 employees. In 2009 we changed our name to High Desert Gardeners to reflect our enthusiasm for gardening in Utah's climate. 

We are gardeners, not just a yard care company. This means we have an education and experience with trees, lawns, flowers, bushes, garden pests, and soil. We know when and how pruning will best impact your trees. We can answer questions about the types of plants that will succeed in your yard and diagnose existing problems. If you ask Bob a question and he doesn't know the answer, he will do his best to find the answer and get back to you. We are interested in helping you love your yard.

Bob is a Master Gardener and licensed pesticide applicator. His 15+ years of experience and his passion for nature will be obvious the first time you speak to him. 

High Desert Gardeners is fully licensed and insured. Our background-checked, drug-tested employees are friendly and experienced, and are paid a fair living wage. Most have been with us for years.
