Pansies

My sister Emily called me today to ask if now was an OK time to plant pansies.  Yes.  As a matter of fact, we usually plant our pansies in the late fall.  They look good until they get covered with snow, and they still look good every time the snow melts.  They survive the winter intact, then they look great until summer gets too hot.  By then, the summer annuals like petunias, vinca, zinnias, etc. have taken front stage.

You can get good deals on pansies now.  Try Discount Bedding Plants on 33rd South at about 10th East.
